Аннотация
В исследовании анализируется связь между творческими достижениями стран (объединенный показатель, включающий Нобелевские премии по естественным наукам и экономике, а также основные награды в математике) и совокупностью предикторов: национальным IQ, образовательными достижениями (по данным PISA и TIMSS) и личностными чертами «Большой пятерки». Корреляционный анализ для 157 стран показал, что связь творческих достижений с национальным IQ является нелинейной и в целом слабой (коэффициент корреляции близок к нулю при включении выброса, без него — 0,417), становясь заметной лишь после преодоления страной порога IQ около 90. Более существенные корреляции обнаружены с образовательными достижениями (0,414) и некоторыми личностными факторами: эмоциональной стабильностью (0,667), доброжелательностью (0,655), экстраверсией (0,509) и сознательностью (0,340). При этом корреляция с открытостью к опыту оказалась незначимой (0,093).
